Decent experience, good protein

I ordered the Grass Fed Whey and a couple of Protein Bars. Ordering online was pretty straightforward, website is clean. Delivery took about 6 days to get to me, which was fine, no rush. The packaging was good, everything arrived intact. The whey powder mixes well and doesn't have that weird aftertaste some brands do. The bars were also surprisingly tasty for a protein bar. I did have a question about the Clean Label Project certification and their customer support responded to my email within a day, which was helpful. Overall, a positive first experience.

Always a solid choice

I've been ordering from Wicked Protein for a while now, mostly their Whey Protein Isolate. This time I tried the Clear Whey Isolate and it's just as good. They're always consistent with their product quality and shipping speed. Never had an issue with an order from them, which is why I keep coming back.

Good value with the bundle

I was looking to stock up and found their Performance Bundles. It saved me a bit compared to buying everything separately. I got the pre-workout and some BCAA Powder. Shipping was okay, got here in about a week. The products themselves seem like good quality for the price I paid. Definitely felt like I got a good deal.

Good bars, quick delivery

Just got some of those Low Carb Protein Bars. They're actually pretty good. My order came in like 4 days, which was nice. Not bad at all, I'd probably order again if I need more.

Are the protein bars actually keto-friendly? Some brands say they are but then have hidden sugars.

G Greg Brooks 1 month ago
Yep, a lot of their bars are listed as keto-friendly. I've been eating the chocolate peanut butter ones and they fit my macros perfectly. Low carb for sure.

S Sam 1 month ago
They do have keto-friendly options! Just double-check the specific bar you're looking at, but they're usually pretty clear about the macros.

I'm a healthcare worker, do they have some kind of special discount? Or is it just for military?

S Steve 2 months ago
Yeah, they definitely have discounts for healthcare workers! My sister gets one. I think you just have to verify your status through their site.
5
B Brett Kaur 2 months ago
They offer both military and healthcare worker discounts. Check their site, there's usually a link in the footer or in the FAQs about how to apply for it.

How long does it usually take for orders to get to California? Need to restock my protein bars soon.

C Cody L. 1 month ago
Mine usually get to LA within 4-5 business days. Pretty standard shipping times.

I'm in northern CA and it's always been about a week for me, sometimes a little less. They ship pretty quick after you order though.

Does anyone know if the SAVE5 code works on top of a subscription discount? Or is it one or the other?

N Nina 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure you can't stack codes. I tried to use a first-order discount with my subscription once and it just took the bigger discount.

A Alex 1 month ago
Generally, they don't let you combine discounts, especially for subscriptions. SAVE5 is usually for new customers and standalone orders, not ongoing subscriptions.

thinking of getting one of those shaker bottles. are they any good or just basic flimsy plastic?

T Todd 1 month ago
I actually really like their shaker bottle. It's pretty sturdy, not flimsy at all. Good seal too, no leaks for me.

They're decent! Better than some cheap ones I've gotten free from other places. Holds up well in the dishwasher and doesn't smell after a few uses, which is a plus.

What's the deal with returns if I don't like a flavor? Is it a hassle?

D Daisy 1 month ago
Returns were super easy for me. I ordered a flavor of whey that I didn't love, and they processed the return without any issues. Just follow the instructions on their site.

I haven't returned anything myself, but I've heard from others that their policy is pretty straightforward. You usually have a certain window, just make sure the product isn't completely used up.

Hey, thinking about trying their whey isolate. I usually get MyProtein. Is the Wicked Protein stuff actually better quality or just more marketing hype?

C Cody W. 1 month ago
I switched from MyProtein to Wicked Protein a few months ago, and I definitely notice a difference. The Clean Label Project certification means a lot to me, especially since I'm pretty careful about what I put in my body. It mixes super well too, no clumps like some other brands.
5
D Dan Hughes 1 month ago
Yeah, it's third-party tested for purity which is a big deal. MyProtein is okay but I feel more confident with Wicked Protein knowing exactly what's in it, and more importantly, what's NOT in it.

Does Wicked Protein use artificial sweeteners in their products? Trying to avoid those.

N Neil Ito 2 months ago
A lot of their stuff is naturally sweetened. I know their Clear Whey Isolate uses stevia. You'd have to check the specific product's ingredient list, but they're big on clean ingredients.
6
K Kevin Beaumont 2 months ago
They aim for clean label, so artificial sweeteners are usually a no-go for them. I've seen some with monk fruit or stevia, but generally not the artificial stuff you find in other brands.
